Science as Art Prize at 2017 Fall MRS

The Retsch group won one of the second prizes in the “Science as Art” competition in the 2017 MRS Fall Meeting. The image (on the left) was a scanning electron microscope image of a big nanoparticle, sunken into an amorphous inverse opal. More winning images can be found at http://www.mrs.org/science-as-art
