Double hierarchically structured composite materials in Advanced Functional Materials

Our work on hierarchically structured, double-periodic porous composite materials has been published in Advanced Functional Materials. Together with Prof. Ulrich Jonas (University of Siegen), I have investigated a method to access well-defined nano/mesostructured materials, which comprise of SiO2, TiO2, and/or Al2O3. These hierarchical superstructures are accessible purely via a colloidal self-assembly route.
