Markus Retsch has been appointed "Juniorprofessor" (Assistant Professor) for Polymeric Systems at the University of Bayreuth. The newly established position focuses on functional materials, which are fabricated via colloidal self assembly. "I am happy to be back and look forward to exciting science," says Prof. Retsch, who studied Polymer and Colloid Science in Bayreuth from 2001 - 2006.
