In collaboration with Ass. Prof. Shenqiang Ren at University of Kansas we investigated the influence of a plasmonic array of gold prisms on the performance of bulk heterojunction solar cells consisting of polymers. We found a marked increase in performance depending on the size and passivation of the plasmonic resonators. This work has been featured as backcover in the current issue of Nanoscale.
