Our latest work on method development for thermal transport characterization in thin film samples has just been published by Photoacoustics. Kai and Nelson improved the photoacoustic measurement technique strongly, and made direct measurements of the thermal conductivity by a transient method possible. This is especially relevant for thin films with a low thermal diffusivity. The full story can be read here.
