Dynamic control over surface lattice plasmon resonances

In a collaboration with the Karg group, Kirsten, Joe, and Pia were able to fabricate novel nanophotonic devices. These exhibit highly interesting surface lattice plasmon resonances. Based on the responsive behavior of the soft PNIPAM shell the refractive index environment can be tuned. This leads to a significant shift of the plasmon resonance.
